At AUT To Be Taught Child Care and Facilitated Learning, I believe every child is uniquely gifted and deserves a safe, nurturing environment where they can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. My goal is to create a joyful learning experience that meets each student right where they are and helps them reach their full, God-given potential.
About Me
I’m a certificated Education Specialist with over 20 years of experience in special education. My background includes teaching students with diverse learning needs, providing specialized support, and designing engaging, hands-on learning experiences. I also hold a Ph.D. in Education, and I’m passionate about empowering children through faith-based instruction (from a Christian Worldview perspective), student agency, and real-world functional skill-building.
As a homeschool mom and lifelong educator, I know that learning AUT To Be enjoyable, personalized, and purposeful. Our motto here is "Rooted in Faith, Grounded in Knowledge, and Thriving in Life". I can’t wait to partner with your family and support your child in meeting their highest potential!

Why I Started AUT To Be Taught
As a mom, educator, and lifelong learner, I’ve always believed that children deserve more than just academics—they need guidance that nurtures their minds, hearts, and purpose. With over 20 years of experience teaching children from preschool to high school in classrooms, homes, churches, and virtual spaces, I’ve seen firsthand what truly helps kids thrive.
What started as a passion to give my own children a meaningful, God-centered, and well-rounded education has grown into a calling: AUT To Be Taught. This program is rooted in my belief that children learn best in a safe, personalized environment that honors their individuality, nurtures their faith, and equips them with life skills—from social-emotional growth to entrepreneurship and vocational training.
We combine small group learning, flexible scheduling, and a Christ-centered philosophy to create an inclusive, hands-on educational experience where every child is seen, supported, and empowered. For families looking for something different, this is the way children AUT To Be Taught.
